Brush with a Body
While Sybil Walling is paying one of her periodical visits to a friend in Scotland, her children call in the chimney-sweep, whose brushes dislodge not only soot but a body.
With a little blackmail the erudite sweep offers to remove the squatter but Henry is disturbed for he suspects that the body might be that of their father who vanished twenty years ago.
On Mothers return things become much more complicated due to the comings and goings of Rosita the Ambassadors Daughter.
She is on the run from the Police and also one of Henry’s patients, the Police, chasing Rosita, Paul the boyfriend of younger sister Sarah, Henry’s fiance the Hon Pamela Colefax and Mrs D’Arcy their redoubtable housekeeper who’s fretting about her impending plastic surgery!
